This original mixed media piece entitled Autumn Equinox was made using layers of ephemera, acrylic paints, and a variety of other mediums as a base for the handmade skeleton leaves used as a focal point on top alongside the other 3-dimesional points of interest. The edges are finished in a wood frame.
About Our Creations:
All of our mixed media creations are made here in our art studio in Monroe, Georgia by artist Lisa Gail. All original works are signed and dated by hand and are ready for hanging. Most of our pieces are created directly on wood, which is by far a favorite base medium, whether it is reclaimed or new wood; it is then cut and sanded by hand. Each piece is finished with a light sealant to help protect the piece for years to come and is appropriate for indoor use only.
